The footbridge leads around the Kobersfelsen directly on the water. It is really a wonderful hiking trail. If you have time, take a short detour up the Kobersfelsen. From up there you have a great view.

History to the Koberfelsen

The daughter of Elisabeth the lord of castle Burgk fell madly in love with the knight Kober. However, she did not dare to confess officially to her feelings of love. Fantastic view of the Saale! Unfortunately, it is currently closed because the path along the rocks was damaged by falling debris in the past and is not released.

Otherwise, the tours in the area are highly recommended!
