Even in the beer-brewing country of Belgium, the Bellevaux brewery is something special. For example, the crystal-clear water, without which no good beer can be brewed, is extracted directly from a spring in the village. Otherwise, everything revolves around four big B's: Brune, Blonde, Blanche, Black are the names of the beers from Bellevaux. None is filtered or pasteurized. You can find out more on a guided tour.

The brewery is not only a worthwhile destination for beer lovers: The brewery is also the start and finish point of four hiking trails of varying lengths. The route descriptions are available free of charge in the brewery or can be downloaded from the website. After the hike, hunger and thirst can be satisfied on the sunny terrace or in the cozy tasting room with a beer (or another drink) and regional, locally prepared food. In the brewery's nice little boutique, visitors will find not only the various types of beer and glasses, but also a selection of delicious, regional products.

The Brasserie de Bellevaux can pride itself on drawing its water, the main ingredient of the beer, from a natural spring in the village. The pure water of the Ardennes with its soft character allows the flavors of the ingredients to develop to the maximum.

Throughout the year, the Bellevaux brewery produces the friendly Brune as well as the elegant Blonde. The sparkling Blanche heralds spring. At the end of summer, when autumn makes its appearance, this fresh beer gives way to the Black with its strong taste and creamy foam.
The beers from Brasserie de Bellevaux are neither filtered nor pasteurized. These are ‘lively’ beers and slightly cloudy in nature. A deposit of yeast may be observable at the bottom of the bottle.
