The baroque monastery and pilgrimage church of the archabbey of Beuron is named after its own style - the Beuron style. The church has valuable ceiling paintings and also the frescoes and stucco work are very elaborate. In addition to the church services, regular concerts are held in the church.

The Benedictine monastery in Beuron has existed since 1863. The building, however, is older: between the 11th century and 1803 it housed the Augustinian monastery of Beuron. Nowadays 40 monks still live in the community. Hospitality is very important to the Benedictine monks, so visitors are welcome at the monastery. You can walk around the extensive monastery grounds, visit the various gardens or look at the impressive ceiling fresco in the abbey church. Keep an eye out for the "Beuron mold" on the ceiling. No matter where you look at the animal in the church, the horse always has you in view.

On the monastery grounds you will find a bookshop. You can buy some goodies in the monastery shop. Concerts are also regularly held in the church. You can find more information here: erzabtei-beuron.de. The monastery also has a guest house with 43 rooms that are rented out.
