Next to the small Thomasteich is the large Thomasteich, also idyllic to look at, with reeds and willows on the banks, a paradise for birds. The water from the nearby Thomasquelle flows artificially into the reedy Thomasteich and via the Felchtaer Bach to the Unstrut.
