The column system made of tuff stone at the tuff stone spring in Bad Eilser Kurpark was probably built before 1920 in neoclassical style. The tufa spring, like the entire spa park, is a listed building. The tuffs are volcanic igneous rock that has solidified. The colors of the globally occurring volcanic tuffs range from gray to yellowish, brownish and reddish to strong red.

The pillar semicircle around the tuff stone fountain In 1914, Prince Adolf had the pillar semicircle built at the tuff stone source. The circle of columns resembling a pergola became Bad Eilsen's landmark.
Tuff stone well from 1914 / sulfur spring. The tuff spring on the tuff hill is quantitatively the strongest source, but its sulfur content is low.
