Along the Graben there is a beautiful trail for hiking. Only a little gradient and the gentle rippling of the water is good for the mood. 😉

⚒️🌲An independent water supply system developed in the Sankt Andreasberg area. Due to a lack of usable streams near the mining area "up on the mountain", water had to be collected in the Sieber and Oder catchment areas and brought in through ditches and tunnels. The following systems, some of which still exist today, were built in the late 16th and early 17th centuries (first period of silver mining):
👉🏼Sonnenberger Graben: about 3.6 km long (Sieber catchment area)
👉🏼Old Rehberger Graben: about 6.6 km long (Oder catchment area)
👉🏼Old Gesehr watercourse: about 450 m long
