Today the water level was so high that you couldn't walk the actual hiking trail and had to wind your way along the slope, which was a bit laborious.
Unfortunately the kiosk was also closed.

The Bruchsee is the small sympathetic brother of the Humboldtsee. You can rent a pedal boat or have a snack at the snack bar. Around the bottom lake you can chill, swim, etc.

Beautiful lake. I was here in winter and the dark green color was awesome. There is also a small kiosk here that also sells punch in winter. I will definitely be back in the summer.

The Bruchsee in Duingen is now used as a swimming and fishing lake and is very popular. On warm days, visitors flock to the shore area to swim and sunbathe, while fishing enthusiasts meet in a quiet spot to fish. A gently sloping western bank allows for shallow entry into the water and is therefore particularly suitable for families with children. A boat rental near the lake provides both pedal boats and rowing boats from Easter to October, providing an additional fun factor on the water. In addition, a kiosk ensures your physical well-being and satisfies your small hunger from time to time.

Stop by on Saturday or Sunday and the new organic kiosk will be open from at least 12 noon to 4 p.m. New solid wood benches, drinks from Voelkel + organic beer from Lammsbräu. Worth a visit!

The Bruchsee is an approximately 10 hectare brown coal surface mining lake in the Duinger Seenplatte area. It is about 1 km west of Duingen.
The lake is used by the fishing club Alfeld as fishing waters. Boat fishing is not allowed, night fishing is yes. The lake is also used as an unofficial bathing lake. Private boat traffic is not permitted by the owner of the lake, the Lower Saxony State Forests.
The north-western shore has been developed for tourism.
