The Champ du Feu has less to do with fire than one might think: "Feu" in this case is the French corruption of the German word "Vieh". You can quickly see why the pass is called that. Cheerful cattle graze on a plateau with little forest, while one or the other cyclist pedals up to the lookout tower built in 1898.

Camp Du Feu is waiting for you with a nice climb over many meadows. Especially worth the tour from Col du Steige ago. Here it goes up a constant steep. Above, the lookout tower rewards. From here you can continue to the monastery of Mont St. Odil. That really salutes !!!
