A few alpine huts are scattered in a basin in the middle of the Kaiser Mountains. Some herds of cattle graze in the surrounding pastures and spend every summer on the Feldalm. Michael delivers most of the yield to the Walchsee organic cheese dairy. While the summer milk is processed directly into cheese or butter, there is also cheese that matures for up to 3 months. You can also find Michael at the farmers market in Ebbs - always on the first Saturday of the month.
