The mill looks back on almost 800 years of history, and the current building is over 200 years old. The mill changed hands countless times over the years and was even used as a grain mill until 1951. In 2000, the Börner family bought the mill and renovated it to ensure it was listed. The entire mill technology was repaired as a technical monument and today the old building houses an inn and a mill museum.

The mill can be visited and behind is a very nice excursion restaurant. For the kids there is a playground and a few animals to see from a farm.

Beautiful beer garden with sun until the evening at the intersection of several hiking and biking trails in Schlaubetal. Manageable good kitchen with classic dishes and some regional products such as fish. Large children's playground and various pets to look at.
