The beautiful, natural campsite Hohes Elbufer is located directly in the nature reserve. Hikers or cyclists who want to make a stopover on the site are just as welcome as seasonal and long-term campers.
The popular Elberadfernweg leads only a few 100 meters from the site and the Elbuferwanderweg even directly past the site.
The campsite is 700 meters long. No pitch is more than 50 meters from the water. There are several wash houses on the elongated site. The main wash house was completely renovated in 2015.
There are natural beaches on the banks of the Elbe. The water is very shallow. You can also swim in the Elbe at your own risk. Water sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth on the site. Guests can launch their boats on the campsite's slipway.
In the district of Tesperhude there are several restaurants and cafes, a jetty and a large playground.

Unfortunately, hikers only get to the beautiful view over the Elbe after a long stretch of the path behind this long-distance campsite through this - you have to admit very, very beautifully located - camping site.
