Nice winding road with a few little lumps along the south shore of Stoney Lake, though you won't see the lake through the trees that line either side of the road. The surface is great, ideal for a road bike and at the end of the road, at McCracken's Landing you can turn south back to the main road, or north down a steep driveway to the Marina for a snack.
Road has been repaved - good news - potholes are gone. Bad news - the rolling resistance is super high and the road is very bumpy now as a result of the tar and gravel-like surface. This road went from being one of my favourites to being just ok since it still allows avoiding cars on County Road.
