    The fountain with the illustrious contemporaries was created in 2005 by Peter Lenk.

    Nobody should miss admiring the fountain with the wonderful figures, to which Peter Lenk himself says: "Tourists who would otherwise never have come! They sit dozing and threatening in front of a stream. Eight of these species: pimps – peasants – punk girls – and emancipation with style.” The sculptor, who lives on Lake Constance, is known for causing a sensation with his works.

    At the Seeheim fountain with its "funny contemporaries" it's definitely worth taking photos and selfies. Or just sit down and look at the sky with them.

                The figures come from the artist Peter Lenk, who comes from Lake Constance.

                  On Sunday, September 9th, 2012, the fountain behind the new town hall, which was created by the home and beautification association Seeheim, became the property of the municipality. The fountain built in 2005 by the HVV and many small and large donations was officially renamed "Seeheimer Halbkreis" with this festive act. The artist Peter Lenk from Bodman on Lake Constance called his figures internally the tourists.

                          Anyone who has ever been to Lake Constance should be familiar with Peter Lenk. His art adorns countless fountains and squares there. Last but not least, the Imperia at the entrance to the harbor in Konstanz is one of his impressive works. It's great that this place came about in Seeheim!
