Hidden behind the houses in the Reinsdorf district of Landsberg is an inconspicuous farm. A moated castle is said to have stood in its place in the 12th century. With her and the adjacent properties, Count Dietrich III. in Landsberg he was enfeoffed by loyal knights.
In 1517, as is attested in writing, the two cousins Hans Balthasar and Christoph von Schieck were enfeoffed with the estate and the nearby estate in Gollma. The goods in Reinsdorf and Gollma were always closely connected and the lords of Reinsdorf were buried in the church of Gollma as they did not have their own grave.
Both von Schieck belonged to a noble family that had moved from Meissen to the Landsberg area at the beginning of the 16th century. They were not only the feudal but also the court lords of Reinsdorf and Gollma. The farmers in the surrounding villages of Schwätz, Gütz, Landsberg and Queis were feudal to them.

The castle was built on the bottom of a moated castle in the 16th century. In 1656 it received its original shape today. After 1945 it was used temporarily as a children's home and clinic. Today it is empty.
