The architectural-ethnographic ensemble of Buraca was discovered in 1941 and is located in the lower part of the Barranco del Corchete gorge. This pre-Hispanic settlement is very interesting as it consists of several natural caves and has three groups of petroglyphs with geometric motifs and several burial sites. The most important settlement occupies three floors, which takes up the entire height of the mountain slope. The petroglyphs consist of geometric figures, such as spirals and wavy lines, carved into the stone. But Buracas is not only of interest from an archaeological point of view but also from an ethnographic point of view, as the caves have continued to be used intensively to this day (as apartments, storage rooms, stables, etc.) because there are two permanent water points here, which are even used by the people of the surrounding communities were used.

The Buracas caves were discovered in 1941, in the Corchete ravine. This pre-Hispanic archaeological and ethnographic complex consists of a group of natural caves, several necropolises, and three groups of geometric petroglyphs. The caves were reused until today as warehouses or homes.

Beautiful round by Drachenbaumhaine and flowering gardens. Just above the caves on the left you will find some petroglyphs on the rocks.
