The water castle Haus Dellwig is, as soon as nature shows its green face, a worthwhile destination for walkers, hikers, walkers and cyclists alike. It offers itself as a station for tours through the surrounding areas Dellwiger forest, nature reserve Dellwiger Bachtal, Deipenbecke up to the district Bövinghausen. It is also worthwhile to visit one of the surprisingly numerous events organized by the Heimatverein and the local clubs. There is a parking lot on the road at the cam, so that an extended tour starting from the house Dellwig in the above areas is possible.

Dellwiger Bachtal is home to Wasserschloss Haus Dellwig. The Haus Dellwig is ideally suited to give cyclists a break at the pond.
- The house Dellwig is already mentioned in 1238 in connection with a knight of the name Heremanns de Dalewick (Hermann von Dellwig). After its destruction in the Thirty Years' War, the two-storey mansion was rebuilt between 1658 and 1690. Over time, it has been rebuilt several times, and so various architectural styles are visible in the building. 1727 died the last male descendant of the march knight family de Dalewick. Then the house goes through inheritance and sale by several hands. In the end, it was acquired in 1904 by Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG. - (Wikipedia)
