The cave discovered by Ignaz Bing in 1905 is definitely worth a visit! Developed as a show cave by its discoverer as early as 1906, it has been one of the most beautiful show caves in Germany since its renovation in 2005.

You follow the tracks of a dry river for almost 300 meters through the mountain, past fantastic dripstone formations. Powerful banks of layered lime and graceful, crystalline sparkling Sinterformungen shape the image of the cave. The temperature down here is around nine degrees year-round, so be sure to pack a warm sweater!

Opening hours and prices:
Open from 10 am to 5 pm daily from 1 April to 5 November. Admission for adults is 4.50 euros, children pay 4 euros.

The cave can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Duration about 40 minutes. Guided tours take place on an ongoing basis, possibly waiting for about 30 minutes.
