Natural paths and paths on both sides of the creek, connected by a few wooden bridges, give a good view of the free-flowing Püttlach, which meanders between rock faces and forest slopes. Wildly romantic and simply beautiful.

The Püttlachtal is cut deep into the Jura landscape and has many striking rock formations. The towns of Pottenstein and Tüchersfeld are in the Püttlachtal; in both places the houses are partly built directly on the rocks.
The Püttlach is an approximately 28 km long left tributary of the Wiesent in Franconian Switzerland.

The Upper Püttlachtal is one of the most beautiful, natural and traffic-free valleys in all of Franconian Switzerland. Over a length of almost ten kilometers, the valley is only accessible by hiking trails.

Very beautiful narrow valley with mighty rocks on both sides. The hiking trail marked with a red cross opens up the valley on a narrow path, coming from Pottenstein first on the southern and later on the northern side of the upper Püttlach.

The path is also suitable for prams or wheelchairs. In the case of a manual wheelchair, only with strong accompanying persons.
It was a very special experience.
However, the path became too bumpy for me.
After about 45 minutes I drove back in the electric wheelchair.
I did the circular route in the Klumpertal.
