This beautiful 30m waterfall owes its name to its similarity to a bride's veil, although history hides a tragic legend.
They say in the town that when a couple wanted to get married, they had to go to the area where the river narrowed and once there, the girl would jump from one bank to the other. Before the eyes of the public, if everything went well, it was believed that the marriage would be prosperous, otherwise, a life full of unhappiness was predicted.
The tragedy came one day when a couple wanted to comply with the tradition but the young woman fell into the river that caught her in a whirlpool. Given the situation, her boyfriend jumped to save her but they both drowned. After this tragedy, the tradition was questioned until it stopped being practiced.
