At Farol da Ponta da Piedade, you can climb down a steep stairway reminiscent of the old seafaring season. Once at the bottom, you will find a small jetty, from where you can take a breathtaking boat tour through the caves of the cliffs. The tour lasts about 40 minutes. Tip: do not forget the camera!

When approaching the lighthouse, you still come across a large construction site. The available parking spaces are therefore currently very limited.

On the Ponta da Piedade, the "peak of mercy", the high rock towers stand picturesquely, with washed-out grottos and rock gates below the high cliffs. Constantly exposed to the changes caused by wind, sun and sea, they offer a wonderful backdrop.
