Steep ascent from the Belltal with a very nice section to the Mosel valley bridge. In many places grandiose views of the Mosel valley. At the AB rest stop Mosel valley you can take a refreshment. This section is next to the RheinBurgenWeg also part of the Moselsteig.

It has a very nice view of the Mosel valley. Sure-footedness should definitely be there because it can be very slippery.
But you will be rewarded with a very nice view.
Arrived at the rest stop you can also continue to hike towards Winningen
and hike there more trails.

We went the way in the opposite direction: very steep and slippery on the descent. Concentration and surefootedness are necessary. Unfortunately, the views are often overgrown with young trees. An alternative connection between Kobern and Winningen is the bike / footpath along the railway line.
