A place so untouched, in the middle of the forests. Thousands of fat carps, duck families, frogs, dragonflies, waterlilies, living undisturbed in a little paradise. The stop I had there was... outside of time.

The pond Cholmoos (also Kohlmoos) is located in Wohlen in the canton of Aargau at 449 meters above sea level. The forest pond is located in a nature reserve between Bremgarten and Wohlen in a densely wooded area. It used to be a bog area, later peat was mined. Today's pond has a maximum depth of only 1.5 meters. The well-known Erdmannlistein and the Bettlerstein are also located near the pond. Everything is beautifully situated and always worth a visit!
