At the northern tip of Mallorca lies the Cap de Formentor, where the northern end of the mountain region Serra de Tramuntana meets the Mediterranean Sea. On the way to the lighthouse several viewpoints offer a great view. The Mallorcans also have a name for the cap "Meeting Point of the Winds"
