The Gaislachkogel (also Hinterer Geislachkogel[1], Gaislacher Kogel or Geislacher Kogel) is a 3056 m above sea level. A. hoch Berg[2] in the Oetztal Alps in Tyrol, Austria. It is located west of Sölden in the Ötztal and north of the Venter valley. The next higher mountain is the Äußere Schwarze Schneid (3255 m), which can be reached in 2.5 hours via the western ridge. To the southeast is the 2982 m high Vorderer Geislachkogel.
The Gaislachkogelbahn, which was built in 1966[3], runs from Sölden up to 3041 m[4], just below the summit, which can be easily climbed from the mountain station. There is a ski area on the Gaislachkogel that is connected to the Giggijoch ski area.

In 1971 the ski areas Gaislachkogel and Hochsölden were merged. A year later, the Ötztal Glacier Road to the Rettenbachferner was built. This meant that the Sölden ski area was snow-sure all year round for the first time.
A marked hiking trail leads from the south through the Gaislachkar with the Gaislacher See (also Geislachsee, 2704 m) to the summit, another one from the northeast.
In 2010 the existing Gaislachkogelbahn was dismantled. The 1st section was replaced by an 8-seater monocable gondola, the 2nd section by a 3S gondola
