One of the six city gates into Rothenburg's old town is the Klingentor. The Wolfgangskirche or Schäferkirche can be visited.

The Klingentor is the northern entrance to the old town and, together with the fortified church of St. Wolfgang built in the outer defensive ring, forms the Klingentor bastion. The Blade Tower, 37 meters high, was previously integrated into the city's water supply. There was an expansion tank in it into which water was pumped up from the Bronnen mill. This water was used to feed some of the Rothenburg fountains.

A part of the Rothenburg fountain was pissed with this water.
