The Hochfeiler (3509m) is a mighty mountain on the main ridge of the Alps and the highest point in the Zillertal Alps. The Gran Pilastro, as the Italians call it, towers right on the border between Austria and Italy (South Tyrol). On the normal route you take the Hochfeiler from the Pfitschertal in attack and rises over the Hochfeilerhütte to the summit.
