Numerous small waterfalls, mossy stones, many types of ferns and interesting beetles or nimble fire salamanders - those who hike through this gorge are well advised to keep their eyes open. You climb a good 500 meters from the beginning to the end of the gorge, from the Spitzmühle in Schloßberg to Sveti Duh in Slovenia.

The Heiligengeistklamm south of Leutschach ends directly on the border with Slovenia at the little church of Sveti Duh (Heiligengeist). The way to get there is difficult - it's always uphill, over slippery stones, sometimes small rocks have to be climbed over - but the atmosphere in this wild and romantic gorge is unique.
