The Tagliaferro Mill, located near Colla Micheri, is an ancient ruin with a cylindrical plan. In addition to serving as a windmill, its strategic position along the coast suggests that it was used as a watchtower against pirates.
The incomplete walls and ventilation openings of the mill, present in the historical maps of 1785 and the French Land Registry, are still visible along the path that descends towards Colla Micheri, an enchanting medieval village preserved thanks to the interventions of the ethnologist Thor Heyerdahl.
