Every year the pond festival in summer and fishing in late autumn invite you to visit the small but tranquil Mogger. I have been here many times as a child, definitely worth a visit.

Mogger is now part of the municipality of Föritz in the Sonneberg district. Located in the south of Thuringia, it borders the Franconian community of Fürth am Berg. Neighboring districts in Thuringia are Mupperg and Oerlsdorf. The proximity to the state border gave Mogger a tranquil existence in the years of the division of Germany in the border strip between the two German states and an arduous life for its inhabitants. Today around 70 people live in the village.
