From the small hill you have a great view of Tyrol. The detour from the Pasteralm up here is worthwhile - the further way to the Pasterkopf/Pastaukopf as well.

To the pilgrims lingering before this small sacred monument with its special dedication as a "Cross of Peace"—what more could the world need in these times?—I would like to offer Pope Leo XIV's welcoming words as a small personal encouragement to peace. Immediately after his election, before bestowing the traditional blessing "urbi et orbi" (to the city and the world) on the waiting faithful, he addressed the people gathered in St. Peter's Square, as well as those participating via radio, television, and online media, with these moving words:
