Alp Grüm is an excellent starting point for descending the trail to Poschavio. The trail is the 673, nicknamed the "Bernina Express". If you drive it from Pontresina, it is about 38 kilometers to Poschiavo. For overnight guests in St. Moritz and Celerina, the train to here is included in the mountain railway ticket for a stay of two nights or more. Of course you can also drive uphill to here. The station is in a picturesque location and offers a magnificent view as well as smaller supply options and of course weather protection.
