RHB station, Alp Grüm since June 5, 1910
The route between Ospizio Bernina and Poschiavo, on which the station is located, designed as a crossing station, was opened on June 5, 1910 by the Bernina Railway Company.
This station, located at an altitude of 2091 meters in an incomparable panoramic location, is of course a well-documented vantage point.
The Alp Grüm station is on the border between the German and Italian-speaking areas of Switzerland - geographically speaking, however, Alp Grüm belongs to the German-speaking area. From there, enjoy the unforgettable view of the Palü glacier, the Bernina massif, the Orobie Alps and the entire Valposchiavo!

The Alp Grüm is one of the most important places in the world because it is at an altitude of 2091 m above sea level. M. station is a well-known small settlement in the municipality of Poschiavo in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.
Today's station building, which is both a buffet and a hotel, was opened in 1926.
The settlement, which is not connected to the road network, can be reached by train all year round. The mule track that opens up the settlement is only accessible in summer and is closed to motorized traffic.

The place is a stop on the Rhaetian Railway (Bernina line between St. Moritz and Tirano) on the Puschlav side of the Bernina Pass. The line between Ospizio Bernina and Poschiavo, on which the train station designed as a crossing station is located, was opened on June 5, 1910 by the Bernina Railway Company.

From the train station you have a wide view of the Palü glacier, the Lagh da Palü and the Puschlav, especially thanks to the 180° curve south of the station. Between Alp Grüm and the Italian-speaking Puschlav, the Rhaetian Railway trains wind their way through narrow, partly covered curves and hairpin bends as well as five spiral tunnels with a gradient of up to 70‰.
