Already from the highway A62 you can see the castle drone on a mountain. She was never taken. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed it, otherwise it might have been completely preserved. Tithe barn and keep were rebuilt. The rest is either ruin or new, as the former French. Barracks, meanwhile a modern youth hostel or the geoscope. Twice a year a big medieval market takes place. But also here are always festivals or events. For me, the castle is a landmark of the Kuseler Musikantenland, which you should definitely look at, if you are in the area.
