On the Bürgenstock you can enjoy a very beautiful all-round view of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains.
At the lift from the Bürgenstock there is the Hammetschwand self-service restaurant with stone tables and benches and in summer you can have a picnic etc. on the adjacent meadow and enjoy the wonderful view.

The view is actually fantastic! However, I personally find the hike from Ennetbürgen (on the other side) up to Bürgenstock and back at least as impressive. You hike away from the crowds, enjoy great views and don't feel quite so "touristy".

Wonderful hike on the Bürgenstock Felsenweg with a fantastic view of Lake Lucerne to the Hammetschwand lift, the highest lift in Europe from the Belle Epoque and further via Känzeli, Villa Honegg back to the Bürgenstock center.
