A Munro with a wonderful surprise – Sgòr Gaoith is a 3,668-foot (1,118 m) mountain in the Scottish Highlands. The views from the summit across to Braeriach are outstanding on a nice day. The eastern cliffs of the mountain are very dramatic and appear to plunge steeply down into Loch Einich, and all of this is unseen on the approach from the south/west.

Lovely views from the top. If you don't fancy going back the same route - take a wander across the ridge instead. You can pick up a trail here and there and the steep way down back to the trail is easy enough as the ground is very solid.
