ハイキング
Drachenfels Castle is definitely worth a climb. A great experience, and not just because of the beautiful view. Exploring the structure of this castle is a real adventure, as it differs significantly from the usual castles.

One of those castle ruins that are great to explore with kids. The ascent is steep, but extremely short. The view over Busenberg and the gently rolling hills of the Wasgau is worthwhile.
At the car park is the Drachenfelshütte of the Palatinate Forest Association, where the usual Palatinate specialties such as Saumagen, liver dumplings and hand cheese can be washed down with a good pint of Riesling spritzer.
