The idyllically situated hiking rest area with a memorial stone and a small pavilion invites you to linger in the middle of nature.
A rest area in the middle of the forest, which was built by the Gornsdorf Ore Mountain Association in 1932/33 on the so-called Hungerberg. This was inaugurated on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the poet Johann Wolfgang Goethe and was therefore called "Goethehain". A small pavilion was placed next to the memorial stone. This is how the popular rest stop for hikers came about.
