The Binger Kribben is a former water management building (groyne group) on the left bank of the Rhine, built in 1860. It served to raise the water level in the Binger Loch route. Today it is a structured floodplain landscape.

Protected by the stone walls against waves and currents, an impressive flora and fauna has developed.
Since the main road and the railway line are at a sufficient distance, there is an almost heavenly calm.
