The Pederiva hut is located at the foot of the Roda de Vael. You can reach it from the Carezza pass using the Paolina chairlift at high altitude and then following a simple path for about 50 minutes. Alternatively, you can reach the Pederiva hut from Vigo and Ciampedie in a couple of hours using the route known as "Vial da le feide".

The hut's menu allows you to choose between the classic platter of local cured meats and cheeses, various first courses such as dumplings, polenta with goulash or sausage, or game, mushrooms and cheese. Options include Italian, vegetarian and traditional Ladin dishes. Desserts, such as strudel, buckwheat cake, berries with yoghurt or fresh cream and Kaiserschmarren, are also worth a try.
