The rock quality is very good. There are about 50 very well secured climbing routes in the III. - IX. Degree. Information can also be found via the DAV rock information system (felsinfo.alpenverein.de). The climbing guide "Göttinger Wald" by Peter Brunnert (Panico-Verlag - currently out of print, a new edition is planned for 2022) offers better information. In the western part of the wall there is a high density of silicification, which allows for safe training at ground level.

The climbing rocks at Mariapsring are easy to find if you enter the address of the Mariaspring rural folk high school (Rauschenwasser 78, 37120 Bovenden) into the navigation system. But be careful when parking, the inviting parking spaces on the opposite side of the street are in-house - but it is easy to find others. From there you only have to follow the small, steep path for a few meters and you are standing in front of the climbing rocks.
