The aircraft, a Junkers Ju 88 G-1 with the factory number 714059, was included
completely destroyed.
The aviators belonged to the 8th season of the III. Group of the night fighter squadron 101, which at that time
was stationed in Kitzingen (250 m above sea level). The 8th Squadron of Night Fighter Wing 101 was only in
June 1944 as a training unit at the air base in Kitzingen.
At this point in time, only two Ju 88 G-1 machines were available in the 8th season.

The remains were taken to their respective hometowns for burial.
