The center of the stylishly restored wine-growing village is still the old wash fountain from the 19th century, where generations of families washed their laundry together before the invention of the washing machine. This fits harmoniously into the overall picture created as part of the village renewal. The reward for the efforts was the gold medal in the state competition "Our village should be more beautiful" in 1993 and the silver medal at the federal level. Sehndorf was also honored with the special prize in the "European Village Renewal Competition" in 1996. Source: Text information board
