In 2008 the current owner, Mr. Uwe Budach, bought the property and lovingly renovated it. The old half-timbering, made of wood and clay, was restored down to the last detail. The inner walls are provided with a special insulation and finished off with a wall heating system in clay construction. As a result, the current operator, Mr. Michael Geisler, took over the property and found the new concepts “Steakhaus 1775” and “The Wine Barn” for the restaurant and farm shop.
