Experience pure nostalgia - with its offers, the MABS offers all young and old friends of historic railways the wonderful experience of getting to know the atmosphere on the railway in the style of the 1960s up close.
For example, we drive on the route from Ocholt to Cloppenburg, built in 1908 (today only to Sedelsberg). Here you can experience a pure nostalgia route at a leisurely pace. We as MABS are the only ones who still regularly operate passenger transport here.
Balance beam bascule bridge Elisabethfehn
On this route we drive through the old seaman's village Barßel. Passing old train stations and three windmills, we cross the historic balance beam bascule bridge from 1959 over the Elisabethfehn canal in our rail bus.
A very special feature of the route is the Saterland with its own language and culture, as well as a trip on the historic Feldlorenbahn to the rewetting areas in the moor. Our VT98 is stationed in Ocholt.
