The Pöhlberg, home mountain of Annaberg-Buchholz, is a paradise for you, if you are a little interested in geology. And even if that is not the case, the view of the so-called butter barrels will impress you. On the north side of the mountain you have the view of these basalt columns of a former quarry. On the eastern slope of the hill, on the other hand, you will find relics of early tin, silver and copper mining, which began here in the 15th century.
