A model of the entire former monastery complex including all buildings was recreated and can be viewed on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Benches invite you to enjoy the silence and the old walls. hist-verein-rosenthal.de
The Rosenthal cemetery (almost 1 km from the monastery) has existed since the mid-19th century. Thanks to a citizens' initiative from the 1990s, which painstakingly made the cemetery safe and accessible again and still looks after it today, you can find peace and quiet there in the shade.

Rosenthal Monastery, today Rosenthalerhof or Kerzenheim, district Rosenthal, was a Cistercian abbey dedicated to Our Lady. The monastery was founded in 1241 by Count Eberhard IV of Eberstein (former count Eberhard II), lord of the castle to Stauf, and his wife Adelheid of Sayn. After the Battle of Göllheim Adolf von Nassau was first buried in this former Cistercian monastery Rosenthal and later transferred to Speyer. Today, Adolf von Nassau and his former opponent Albrecht von Habsburg lie side by side.
