    In the vicinity of the “Boxheimer Feldschlag” nature park there is a beautiful barbecue area with a barbecue hut that can be rented. There is also a forest playground and the forest classroom at the Kita Zwergenwald.

            forest classroom
            The idea for a "forest classroom" in Bürstadt came about in 2015. The idea was generally very well received by both schools: A link with regular classes is planned, so that practical research such as soil, air and leaf litter investigations can be carried out. Two years later, a cooperation between the forest office, forest educator and city administration came about: furniture for up to 32 schoolchildren was preferred. The open-air classroom should have four large work tables and a board as a blackboard.
