In the Bonnieu cove there are two beaches, one of sand and one of pebbles (the closest to the EDF power station). Both beaches are 250 meters away and have free parking. These two beaches are pleasant but the view and the proximity of the EDF thermal power station (1.2 km as the crow flies) ruin the landscape. The unit may emit an unpleasant odor. We also have the La Décretterie de la Couronne which is nearby.

Access to this beach is taking the D49 and following the path of Bonnieu.

You can also walk to Carro from The Crown. Onwards, after leaving the Blue Coast proper, the footpath takes you to Bonnieu, a nudist beach 50 minutes' walk from the town, and eventually to Martigues (four and a half hours).
