Dear guest, this highlight is located in the Eifel National Park. To protect sensitive species, special rules apply: Stay on the paths, keep dogs on a leash, and ride your bike/mountain bike only on designated trails. Further information can be found at nationalpark-eifel.de.

🦌 The red deer viewing gallery on the Dreiborn Plateau promises an unforgettable natural spectacle for all ages. You can observe red deer here year-round!

🍂 In the autumn months, the red deer are on the lookout for a mate: their impressive courting calls (roaring) echo for miles across the plateau.

🤠 During the entire rutting season, our rangers are available at the gallery to provide expert information.

ℹ In addition to the usual rules of conduct in the national park, special additional rules apply at the viewing gallery. By following these rules, you and other guests will be able to enjoy a special natural spectacle – without frightening or disturbing the animals.

👉 Rules of conduct and tips for your visit to the viewing gallery:

- Be especially quiet on the gallery and on the way there 🤫

- Wearing soft, low-noise clothing is recommended

- Avoid sudden movements

- Never step onto the area in front of the gallery and do not lean too far out of the viewing window 🚷

- Do not use artificial light sources 🔦

- Dogs are not allowed on the gallery (exceptions apply to guide dogs) 🐶

- Do not eat or drink on the gallery – this often causes noise 🥪
