The Boca do Inferno (hell's mouth) is a submerged by the sea steep coast on the Atlantic Ocean. It is located about two kilometers west of Cascais and can be reached on foot or by city bus.

Hell's Mouth is a large rock arch on the cliffs on the western edge of Cascais. The sea flows both in and out here, letting the waves crash against the cliffs with their own force. The water can sometimes splash a few meters high - hence the dramatic name...
