Here nature can still be nature. The Seeve flows and meanders here in its upper reaches as a wildly romantic forest stream. Swampy areas on the sides. It has partly buried itself deep in the sandy soil, so that real steep banks have arisen. The Heidschnuckenweg also follows its western shore for a while.

The west side is a section of the Heidschnucken hiking trail and is accordingly popular with a lot of movement on it. It is quieter on the east side ;-)

Alders, beeches and oaks line the path here. You walk more or less close to the Seeve, which meanders peacefully in endless bends through the swampy valley.
